Hello, my name is Julia Glennie and I am a registered social worker, researcher, writer, and behavioural consultant working in Southern Ontario, Canada.
I use charisma, intuition, energy transfer, and behaviour modification to command meaningful change and usually work with people who are ready to fight for something better for themselves and their families.
I carry a varied tool kit and meet my clients in moments of meaningful change and transitions. I work in coaching, research, advocacy, storytelling, public speaking, and writing. I recently trained and licenced in Private Investigations to advocate better for the rights of my clients.
I am a social person and enjoy travelling and meeting with any and all to share culture, tradition, knowledge and past times. I am a global citizen and have worked and travelled across Canada from Coast to Coast. I have lived, worked, and explored globally reaching out in South Korea, Japana, Thailand, Holland, Belgium, Germany, and throughout the American East Coast and Virgin Islands.
I have experience working within the public service, in crisis management, community outreach, family systems, health care, and addiction programs. I will use any means necessary to reach out to people and help them conquer their goals. I can stand shoulder to shoulder with you in court, dig deep in a forest bath, or take a road trip to say your final goodbyes. I am honoured to have sat in friendship with people facing their own final moments; sometimes in laughter, or tears; in rage, or disbelief. I am here for it all to strengthen your own experience and honour your wishes.
Some of my favourite things to do professionally is helping people with their EUREKA moment. I have sat vigil for over 10 000 hours with people in contemplation of suicide or fighting the first days of sobriety as a sober companion. I have supported people on their best days and their worst days and stood firm in support of their needs and rights.
I am safe space trained and an enthusiastic Ally for all.
I identify as a women, mother, educator, intuitive, energy healer, green witch, from Pagan and Dutch Mennonite cultural decent. I am 4th generation Canadian and work/live/love as a guest on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, and Neutral Peoples. I acknowledge the contributions of Indigenous Peoples and the ongoing need for reconciliation.
